The Outsiders were a rogue group of teenagers playing violent pranks, until a villain known as the Slug brainwashed them and commanded them to commit crimes. Batman and Wildcat convinced them that the Slug is only using them, and they turn on their master and defeat him. They end up training with Wildcat in his boxing gym.
